Hello! My name is Umar, and I’m an ENT Specialist Pharmacist deeply rooted in Glasgow. For years, I’ve been privileged to serve the Scottish community, and my passion lies in providing exceptional ear care. Witnessing firsthand the struggles many face in accessing timely and affordable ear care services, I felt a calling to create something better. That’s why I founded Eartique – Scotland’s first fully mobile ear care service, bringing expert care directly to your doorstep.

Born, bred, educated, and working right here in Glasgow, I’m incredibly proud of my Scottish roots. I’ve dedicated my career to specializing in ear-related issues, gaining extensive knowledge and experience in the ENT field. I understand the frustration and discomfort that ear problems can cause, and I’m driven to provide compassionate and effective solutions.

Through shadowing ENT surgeons and with the backing of NHS consultants, I’m well-equipped to clinically examine your ears, prescribe necessary medications, and perform gentle microsuction. I’m a fully registered professional with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC No. 2221286), ensuring you receive the highest standard of care.

After graduating from the University of Strathclyde and completing my pre-registration training at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, I spent nearly a decade working in community pharmacy. It was during this time that I became acutely aware of the lack of accessible NHS primary care for simple ear care and wax removal. The private sector often charges exorbitant fees, making quality ear care out of reach for many. I knew I could make a difference.

Eartique is my vision to make expert ear care affordable and convenient for everyone. We eliminate the need for you to travel to a clinic, bringing our mobile service directly to your home. I’ve worked with numerous care homes across Scotland and have earned the trust of countless clients through my dedicated domiciliary services.
